Haley Twist is a communications professional with a passion for media and technology, education, and the humanities living in Charlotte, North Carolina. She has a background in instructional design, research, journalism, publishing, and project management, and works as an occasional freelance writer and graphic designer in addition to her position in learning management strategy at Stabilus, Gastonia.
In December 2016 she finished master’s degree in religious studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, where she holds a BA in the same subject. Her thesis focused on the intersection of religion, technology, and identity narratives in the contemporary U.S., and she spent most of her undergraduate career editing her university’s newspaper while studying religion and foreign film.
In her free time she listens to a diverse collection of storytelling podcasts, watches (probably too many) independent horror films that her friends think are creepy, and hangs out with her awesome rescue cats, Tyler and Marla.
